BIOGRAPHY

I have always enjoyed visual art and don't remember a time when I wasn't sketching or doodling on a scrap of paper. Landscapes and still life painted in traditional oils are my favourite subjects.

I am a member of the Ajax, Oshawa and Pineridge Art Associations as well as an associate member of the Society of Canadian Artists. For the past several years I have studied under professional artist Doug Purdon as well as enjoying the art opportunities afforded by these associations.

In 2001, I won the "Mayors Award" at the Pineridge juried art show and last year my painting titled "First Snow" was selected for the Printing House charity Christmas card program.
